What it costs

The minimum charge

Any rental carries a minimum charge of $500. If your job needs the meter for two days, the rental is still billed at $500 rather than a pro-rated daily figure. Past that minimum, the weekly rate applies.

In practice this means a one-week ProLite rental at $699 and a one-week UF801-P rental at $899 are both above the minimum, so the minimum only bites on very short jobs.

What is included in the rate

• The meter, configured for your pipe before it ships
• The correct transducer pair for your pipe size, fitted
• Cables, coupling gel, clamping rail, tape measure, spare batteries, hard case
• Calibration certificate, free on request at booking
• Phone and email support from someone who uses these meters, for the whole rental
• The BTU energy kit on the UF801-P, on request

What is charged separately

• Outbound shipping. Overnight delivery, priced by destination. We quote it with the rental.
• Return shipping. Yours to arrange, or we can bill it and handle it.
• Damage beyond fair wear. See damage and insurance.
• Late return. Charged at the weekly rate. See rental terms.

Multi-week and monthly

Survey work often runs a month or more, and the weekly rate is not the right structure for that. Tell us the deployment length when you enquire and we will quote a monthly figure rather than multiplying weeks.

Rental against purchase
