Rent first, then decide
If the rental turns into a purchase, the rental payments can be credited against the price of the same model. Which means a trial on your own pipes costs nothing if you buy.
Why this exists
A clamp-on meter is a straightforward instrument to specify on paper and a harder one to predict in practice. Whether it works well for you depends on your pipes — their material, their internal condition, how much straight run your plant actually has. No datasheet answers that.
Renting for a week or two on your own installations answers it definitively. If the answer is yes, the rental money goes toward the purchase rather than being sunk.
How the credit works
- Rent the model you are considering, for as long as you need to evaluate it.
- If you decide to buy the same model, tell us before the rental closes.
- Rental charges paid are credited against the purchase price through Seztec USA.
- Freight and any damage charges are not credited.
Both rental units are sold by our parent company: Ultra ProLite and Ultraflux UF801-P.
What to test during the trial
- Your worst pipe, not your best. If it reads the difficult line, the easy ones follow.
- The smallest and largest diameters you actually work on.
- A location with marginal straight run, so you know where the limit is.
- Whether the datalogger output fits your reporting workflow. This is the thing people discover too late.
