Shipping and returns
Meters ship overnight from Houston to anywhere in the fifty states. Freight is billed separately because a meter going to Baton Rouge and one going to Anchorage are not the same cost, and we would rather quote it than average it into the rate.
Getting the meter to you
- You tell us the pipe and the dates. Outside diameter, wall material, fluid, destination ZIP and the day you need it on site.
- We confirm the unit and quote freight. Rental plus overnight delivery, as one number, before you commit.
- The meter is configured before it ships. Correct transducer pair fitted, pipe data pre-entered where you have given it to us. It arrives ready to clamp on.
- Overnight dispatch. Booked and confirmed before the afternoon cutoff, it goes out the same day for next-morning delivery.
What arrives
One hard case containing the meter, the transducer pair for your pipe size, cables, coupling gel, clamping rail, tape measure, spare batteries and, on the ProLite, the USB external battery pack. On the UF801-P, the energy kit if you asked for it. Calibration certificate in the lid if requested.
You do not need to source anything locally. If something is missing from the case, call us before you start — do not improvise with plumbers' grease instead of coupling gel, because it changes the acoustic path.

Local collection
Houston and Gulf Coast customers can collect from {SITE['street']}, Houston, TX 77065 and save the freight entirely. Houston pickup details.
Returning it
- Repack everything in the case, in the cut-outs it came in. Loose transducers in a shipping box get damaged.
- Wipe the coupling gel off the transducer faces. Dried gel is the most common thing we have to clean off returned sensors.
- Download your data before you ship. Once the meter is back with us, the next rental may clear it.
- Return the case to the address on the paperwork by the agreed date. You can arrange your own freight or ask us to bill and book it.
Extending mid-rental
Jobs run long. Call before the return date rather than after — an extension agreed in advance is billed at the weekly rate, a late return is treated differently. See rental terms.
